The Scented Cookbook was created as part of the course “IN5120 - Tangible Interaction”. We were given a challenge of teaming up with 3 other students and creating something using Arduino in 48 hours that fit the theme “Olfactory senses”. Through brainstorming we ended up creating a coookbook that would eject the smell of the food recipe a person would be looking at. We built the prototype using Arduino and laser engraving with the two recipes included being cinnamon buns and a lemon vinaigrette.
